Nick Foreman
Ph.D. Candidate & Human Physiologist

Welcome! I’m Nick Foreman, a PhD candidate at George Washington University in Washington, DC. I am a human physiologist with seven years of human subjects research experience. I have formal training in both exercise physiology and nutrition, with an emphasis on postprandial metabolism. My current research focuses on the impact of high-fat overfeeding on the postprandial metabolic and cardiovascular response, as well as the role of exercise in protecting against the adverse effects of high-fat overfeeding. You can find more details on this study and my other ongoing projects here. I have a Masters degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelors in Human Physiology, both from the University of Minnesota.
Outside of research, I enjoy running, baking, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings. I currently live in Washington, DC with my partner Emily and our two gray cats.
